Due to a recent ordinance passed by Pitkin County, WCMD is required to pay for recycling that equals 50% of our landfill waste.  Therefore, additional recycling bins, providing for more recycling, for which we are required to pay, will be placed next to the existing recycling bins.  If you have questions about the ordinance, please follow this link:  https://www.landfillrules.com/code  You may also email the Metro District with questions.
